Glamourgraphy

Glamourgraphy is a term coined by photographer Aliaks Klyhsevich a.k.a. Alex Kay to describe his innovative style of artistic nude boudoir photography. (A boudoir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room.) The term comes from two words "glamour" and "graphy".

glamour (American: glamor)
[Origin: Scots alteration of grammar. glam·our, glam·or]
noun
Meaning: Alluring beauty, romance, excitement or charm with sex-appeal.

graphy
[Origin: Greek -graphia, from graphein. gra·phy]
suffix
Meaning: Writing about a specified subject.

Glamourgraphy is writing about glamour; the photographing of a nude or semi-nude female model, producing glamorous images with nudity or partial nudity in a way that is intended to be erotic; creating artistic visions of female body.

What constitute Glamourgraphy from the viewpoint of the photographer are professionalism, creativity and artistic taste. On the subject's side, the key attributes are sensuality and natural beauty. Glamourgraphy is a mechanism and style for conveying eroticism and sexual tension through photography. It is a distinct opposite and counter-balance to pornography.
